Web-design Services.

All our websites are designed with three key principal concerns;
*The End User
*The Target market (catchment area and demographics of the consumer).
*The corporate brand identity (style/guidelines) of our customer.

All websites are created with the end-user in mind; this is one of the most important facets most web-designers neglect! All websites must contain features that make it easy to navigate for the end-user and ‘obvious’ what buttons and interactive elements do want. The target market for a site/business are important to understand from the very beginning to ensure that the website designed is appropriate for that target market and most importantly is designed to reach that target market, thus we need to understand the catchment area for the business, the age, socio economic status etc of the target customer for the site. Finally the site must be consistent with the brand identity of our customers to ensure recognition in the market place and aid the development of the agents brand in the market place, we see the website as an extension of the brand, complimenting the image created.

Our websites are designed to not only function efficiently but also look good!

From concept to implementation the GRS web-design process:

GRS work with our customers at every stage of the design process to ensure we create the website that you want and that will be effective for your target market. In order to make the process as seamless as possible GRS operate by utilising a simple questionnaire to discover the information about your potential end users, your target market and your desires.

STAGE 1:- After making initial contact with a customer we arrange a free personal consultation at their head office with the senior staff responsible for marketing or managing their company’s market profile. This office visit is vital for GRS since it allows us to understand the nature of a customer’s business, the environment in which their business operates and provides an opportunity to explore a customer’s own vision for their business. A well conceived and designed website will be a key component in delivering this vision. This consultation takes approximately 90 minutes and is strictly confidential – all our customers are routinely offered a Non-Disclosure Agreement which binds both parties and prevents either party from disclosing sensitive or confidential business information to any parties not employed by GRS or the customer.
STAGE 2:- GRS will then submit a Summary Report outlining the findings of the meeting together with a quotation for the recommended design service. The price quotation is fixed for 30 days.
STAGE 4:- Once the customer has signed and returned the quotation GRS will provide a programme for completing the work including full details of any STAGE 3:- The customer is provided with concept designs to sign off, we modify the designs at this stage until the customer is completely happy with its appearance
STAGE 5:- GRS commence the build of the site and typically complete the website within 31 days and will advise if they expect to exceed this period.

Optional:- GRS can source all images for the website, but where a customer has preferred images we will incorporate these instead. We normally expect our customers to provide all text for their new website, but we can also arrange for a copywriter to assist if this is required. Our quotation will include these costs where a customer has asked for the services prior to GRS preparing the quotation.

Our experience suggests that, for the majority of customers, a weekly progress update is sufficient, provided that the customer is able to nominate a contact person within their own organisation able to deal with any website functionality queries that we may need to clarify during the design process. Such queries will usually be limited to how a customer manages their business processes so that our website is compatible with them – it is very frustrating for a customer if their completed website requires unexpected staff training or conflicts with their own customer service needs.

GRS provide all their customers with an easy to understand summary of the actions that need to be set up and managed to help ensure that their new website becomes a leading website which is ‘ranked highly’ on the more popular search engines (Google, Yahoo etc.). GRS do NOT require their customers to sign up to a fixed term contract for website support after launch and we will happily assist either our customer’s in-house IT team or an outsourced provider to provide this service for no additional cost.
